  • To consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.

The American Legion Tum Tum Post 168 is in Amboy Washington maintaining around eighty members from the local community. We are a small country post with a very hospitable and relaxed group of veterans. We were chartered as Tum Tum Post 168 on March 31, 1941, right before the United States was drawn into World War II.  With over 80 years of service, we are dedicated to our community, our veterans, and our country.

We are extremely excited that we have now started a Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Squadron! If you are a male descendant of a veteran consider joining us, we have plenty of exciting things we are doing to make the Squadron a success! See the events page for more information.

Our Post has an active American Legion Riders Chapter on our roster. This is an excellent group of motorcycle enthusiasts who actively support our community, veterans, and many other programs. It is a terrific way to be with fellow veterans and their families, ride, and support our community. If you want more information, CLICK HERE.

We are actively looking for Daughters, and Spouses of Veterans to help us restart an American Legion Auxiliary

The auxiliary is made up of men and women who are dedicated to supporting the veterans, their families, and our community. If you are interested, please contact us.

During any typical year, our post donates thousands of dollars to the local community and veteran activities! These donations included great organizations like Veteran Affairs Voluntary Services (VAVS), Windhaven Veterans Program by Lifeline connections, Little League, North County Lions, and Clark County Marine Cadets, along with direct aid to stricken families and veterans, funeral services, and other aid through volunteer services.

If you have a veteran who passed, and you would like full military honors, or you are unsure how to honor your hero, please reach out to us, we would be honored to assist.
