A Day of Thrills and Purpose - Ride for Heroes: A Mountain Adventure with a Mission
What: The 4th Annual Windhaven Ride for Veterans - An American Legion Tum Tum Post 168 Fundraiser: Building Community, Honoring Heroes, and Changing Lives.
When: August 16th starting at 8:30 AM and going until 3:00 PM.
Where: Yacolt Community Church, Yacolt Washington, 98675 (45.870931, -122.411020) - New building and parking lot off NE Amboy Road, across the street from the "North Clark Little League" baseball fields.

Honor our heroes as we set the stage for a day of impact with morning coffee and a great kick-off ceremony. Guest speaker (To be announced).
Registered Riders - Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping day in the picturesque mountains of Yacolt, Washington, where your passion for riding meets a noble cause! Enjoy a planned scenic cruise through Clark County's breathtaking landscapes (details to be announced).
Celebration Finale: Return to Yacolt starting location for meaningful engagement with a community united for veterans. Consider joining the American Legion Post 168 or other supporting organizations.
Community Members - Join us for a full day of Music, Food and Drink, and consider shopping with our supporting local vendors.
The Mission
Our Members, Sponsors, and Volunteers are on a mission to support and empower our local veterans through two powerful campaigns:
The "Heros' Haven Campaign" and the "Patriot Partners Initiative".
The "Heroes' Haven Campaign" is the heart of our fundraising efforts. Every dollar contributed goes directly to our Windhaven Veterans Program. A unique approach to reintegration therapy that incorporates licensed clinicians, well-trained horses, and a small team setting. This program provides crucial support to those who have served our country.
The "Patriot Partners Initiative" or our Sponsorship is our innovative approach to maximizing impact through sponsorships. By joining this initiative, you're not just supporting the event – you're supercharging our ability to help local veterans.
Your contribution helps cover event costs, and here's the best part: every cent that remains after expenses will roll directly into the Heroes' Haven Campaign, amplifying your impact and ensuring that more resources reach our veterans in need.
By participating in either or both of these campaigns, you're joining a community of dedicated individuals committed to honoring our veterans' sacrifices and supporting them in their time of need. Participants of the Hero’s Haven Campaign are encouraged to register and donate early (Once the registration is up and running). Bring the Motorcycle, Hotrod, or Classic Car on the day of the event, and be ready for a great ride, and lots of fun in support of veterans!
